We are contract milker's on our family farm in Te roti/Eltham we are looking for someone to fit in as a farm hand, farm assistant, or milk harvester to assist with milking's and day to day farm jobs.
Calving starts 15th July, twice a day milking's, 250 friesian cows through a 42 ashb shed with cup removers and in shed feeding. Cows have Allflex collars with a automatic drafting gate making mating easy.
Jobs will include (but not limited to)
Milking's, Setup and removing of temporary fences, Feeding calves, Spraying, Shifting Irrigators, Maintaining shed hygiene and tractor work
