ABOUT THE FARM: The herd consists of 540 spring-calving Friesian and Friesian cross cows. Cows are predominantly grass-fed, with palm kernel fed in peak. Chicory and grass silage are fed in the summer deficit. Cows are milked through a 50-bale rotary with ACRs and auto teat-spray.
ABOUT YOU: You have at least one year's experience in a similar role. You will be driven to go further within the dairy industry, and are taking on such a role with the goal of progressing to herd manager/2IC roles once your knowledge and skills have progressed. Your attitude and willingness to learn are just as important as your current skills.
You will be currently living in, and have the right to work in New Zealand, have a valid driver’s licence, and be prepared to undergo pre-employment Police and Drug Tests.
