Seeking a Herd manager for a OAD autumn calving farm in Aranga Northland.
Milking 220 cows through a 24 A/S shed with in-shed feeding. Farm contour is mostly flat to easy rolling.
You will be working alongside the farm owner and part time reliever. You must be competent at detecting and treating mastitis and lame cows. You will need to be competent at driving tractors and feed out wagons, be able to ride 2 wheelers safely and must have a valid New Zealand drivers license.
Comfortable 3 bedroom house is available on farm.
Farm is located near the beach and Kai iwi lakes. Aranga primary school just 5 minutes away. Nearest town is Dargaville.
Must have NZ residency or a valid NZ working visa.
